St. Jacob's Stone Church

Ever since 1894, Stone Church has celebrated Memorial Day. A ceremony is held on the New Cemetery with a military salute by the Richard J. Gross Post 8896 of East Berlin, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The church bell tolls and memorial carnations are placed during the
reading of names of persons interred in the cemetery since the last Memorial
Day.
Pennsylvania Senator Mike Waugh (28th District) and Pennsylvania Representative
Ronald Miller (93rd District) provided the Memorial Day message.
Both the Pennsylvania State Senate and House of Representatives recognized
Stone Church's 250th Anniversary.
