We have affectionately named Gideon our resident peacock.

He travels up the hill to the church from the neighboring farm.  Occasionally, the less vibrant female wanders up, too.  Seeing the peacocks at Stone Church has become a daily ritual and has recently created a lot of conversation, inspiring one of a few t-shirt designs for those interested in Stone Church spiritwear.  The peacock can be a symbol of immortality for various reasons, therefore relating to the eternity of Christ.  Find more information shared by Ralph F.
